YING LUO
Ying Luo is a keen naturalist, with a background in insect taxonomy and systematics. Growing up, she was not particularly interested in insects. Her first exposure to the world of insects was through working as a research assistant after finishing her Bachelor of Science.
Ying enjoys understanding the various interactions insects have with their environment, which led her to working on a Masters project understanding the diversity of a genus of leaf mining moths (Gracillariidae: Phyllocnistis) in Australia. Ying is passionate about insect diversity and diversity in science, and believes knowledge should be accessible to all.
